These terms explain what happens between your request and the first morning of a tour. They sit alongside the written proposal and contract you receive before anything is agreed.
From a request to a proposal
A request sent from a tour page is not a reservation and costs nothing. Within 48 hours a manager telephones you in the window you chose, checks the dates and the group, and gives you the current price. A written proposal follows by mail and stays open for seven days.
Guide prices and the final price
The figures on tour pages are guide prices per person in Czech crowns, for the services listed on each tour. The final price is the one in your written proposal. After the contract is signed it changes only in the cases the law allows, such as a change in carriers’ fuel costs or airport taxes, and if such a change goes above eight per cent you may withdraw without a fee.
Settling the price
Nothing is charged through this website. The amounts and dates for settling the price are written in the proposal, and the money is sent by bank transfer against an invoice. Our staff will never ask for card numbers by mail or by phone.
The contract and its protection
Tours are package travel under sections 2521 and following of the Czech Civil Code, Act No. 89/2012 Coll. The organiser holds the insurance against insolvency required by Act No. 159/1999 Coll.; the proposal names the insurer and gives you the certificate, which covers your trip and your journey home.
If you cancel
You may withdraw from the contract at any time before departure. We then keep a cancellation fee that grows as the departure date comes closer; the scale is printed in the proposal and reflects what we can no longer recover from guesthouses and airlines. If unavoidable and extraordinary circumstances at the destination affect the trip, you may withdraw with no fee at all.
If we cancel
A tour runs with at least four travellers. If fewer sign up, we tell you no later than twenty days before departure and return everything you sent, or offer another date. The same applies if circumstances outside anyone’s control make the trip unsafe.
Changes and transfers
Ask for a change of date or of tour as early as you can; we do our best and tell you plainly what it would cost. You may also pass your place to another adult who meets the conditions of the trip, provided you tell us at least seven days before departure.
Insurance and documents
Travel insurance is not included and we recommend it, with cover for cancellation. You are responsible for a valid passport or identity card for each country on the route; we tell you in the proposal what is needed.
Questions and complaints
Write to [email protected] or call the front desk on +420 461 090 384. A complaint during a tour goes first to the guide, who has the authority to put things right on the spot. If we cannot agree, consumers may turn to the Czech Trade Inspection Authority (ČOI), which handles out-of-court consumer disputes.
